Stop subsidizing oil profits !

This week Jim Gerlach took yet another pass on an opportunity to roll back oil-industry tax breaks. He has now accepted $102,280 in campaign contributions from Big Oil and continues to protect their giveaways while they rake in record profits. BobRoggioforCongress

Let's elect Obama!

I just came back from an Obama organizing meeting for our 3-township area. There were 7 people signed up to come, but more than 20 showed up!

There are a lot of events coming up. Everyone should go to the Obama site and sign up. On the site you will find many ways to help win this election. There is something for everyone.

We have 10 weeks to turn this country around. Now is the time to get involved.

Roggio on Iraq

The war in Iraq was a mistake. Over the past 6 years, almost 4,000 brave troops have been killed, and close to 20,000 more injured. We have spent hundreds of billions of dollars, while ignoring the very real domestic needs of our country. President Bush continues to ask for more money, and more troops, but has no new ideas to win the peace. I will fight to end this war, and bring our troops home responsibly, and with honor. - Bob Roggio
